It’s almost Hanukkah, but before you start spinning dreidels and eating latkes, get in the spirit with these Hanukkah themed cocktials. Grab some Manischewitz, a shaker, and a few friends and celebrate- l’chaim!
1 oz. Raspberry Vodka
1 oz. Grape Vodka
¾ oz. Chambord
½ oz. simple syrup
1 oz. heavy cream
splash cranberry juice
squeeze lemon juice
4-6 drops frangelico
pinch of nutmeg
Add ingredients to shaker half filled with ice. Shake vigorously and continuously for 1 minute, or until shaker is extremely cold. Rim cocktail glass with powdered sugar. Pour, float Frangelico on top, and garnish with pinch of nutmeg
3 parts Concord Grape Manischewitz
Half a shot of brandy per serving
2 parts Dole pineapple-orange juice
1 part lime juice 1 part lemon juice
1 part seltzer water
Cut up apple, grapes, limes, lemons, oranges and put them in punch bowl. Pour wine and juices on top. Add seltzer shortly before serving.
Mazel Tov Cocktail
3 ounces Manischewitz
1 ½ ounces Gin
twist of lime
Combine wine and gin in an old-fashioned glass with ice cubes and stir well.
Garnish with lime twist and serve.
Manischewitz Sangria Martini
1 part raspberry Stoli vodka
1/2 part triple sec
1/2 part pear schnapps
2 parts Manischewitz Concord-grape wine
1 part fresh sour mix
1 part Sprite
Lemon twists, to garnish
Shake the vodka, triple sec, schnapps, Manischewitz and fresh sour in a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour into a martini glass.
