Renowned celebrity chef, Jean Georges, of the Topping Rose House is well known for his beautifully crafted food, but his cocktail list is equally inventive and impressive. The Cucumber Mint Martini is a bar staple, and now, it can be a staple in your own home. With five simple fresh ingredients, you can feel like you’re relaxing at a five star bar, from the comfort of your own couch! This recipe makes one refreshing cucumber mint martini.
What you’ll need:
- 2 ½ oz Hendricks Gin
- ¾ oz lemon Juice
- ¾ oz Simple Syrup
- 4 Mint Leaves
- 3 Slices of Cucumber
How to make it:
In a mixing glass, Muddle the mint and slices of cucumber. Add the Lemon Juice and Simple Syrup. Finally, add ice and Gin. Cover and Shake. Strain contents into a chilled Martini Glass. Add one ice cube and a cucumber garnish.
Pro tip: To make the cucumber garnish, slice a long piece using a vegetable peeler and accordion fold it onto a cocktail pick. You can use more than one slice to make a longer garnish.
